The Marshall Redefined
In 2014, BKV Group completed the design of The Marshall, a student living community composed of a series of interconnected buildings ranging from four to seven stories, surrounded by several landscaped, open-air plazas. In 2024, BKV returned to The Marshall to redefine the community for the modern-day student. Partnering with Greystar, the exciting renovations transformed the 315+ apartments, in addition to the common areas, fitness spaces, and resident clubhouse.

Since establishing our Washington, DC practice site in 2010, we’ve had over a decade working in the surrounding region, especially in the City of Brotherly Love. It’s why we’re proud to see our One Thousand One development make Philadelphia Business Journal’s “24 Projects to Watch in ’24” list. With the 630-unit first phase expected to deliver by the end of 2024 (and the entire development completed by 2026), One Thousand One is one of the largest projects underway in the United States, calling for 1,457 apartments and more than 185,000 square feet of amenity space for residents.

Transforming Kansas City’s West Bottoms
BKV is proud to partner with our client SomeraRoad Inc. for the impactful urban revitalization plan for the West Bottoms neighborhood of Kansas City. The original thoroughfare and anchor of the city, this restoration and new development project retains and revitalizes the historic character of the area, transforming it into a welcoming, mixed-use, multi-modal community.
